The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is a 2006 action film directed by Justin Lin and written by Chris Morgan. It is the standalone sequel to The Fast and the Furious and the third installment in the Fast & Furious franchise.

The Story

The film follows Sean Boswell (Lucas Black), a high school student who is sent to live with his father in Tokyo after getting into trouble with the law. Sean quickly becomes involved in the world of underground street racing and drifting, and he soon finds himself in a rivalry with Takashi (Brian Tee), the leader of the Drift King racing team.

With the help of his new friends, Neela (Nathalie Kelley) and Twinkie (Bow Wow), Sean learns to drift and eventually challenges Takashi to a race. The race is a close one, but Sean ultimately wins, earning the respect of Takashi and the other Drift King members.
